Recently, Caitlin decided to respond to some of the negative backlash that she gets on her posts about her family.
She revealed that she frequently reads negative comments about her kids' clothing.
Trolls Shamed Her Kids For "Only Wearing Clothes From Walmart"
People have told her, "Your kids only wear clothes from Walmart, while you get dressed up a lot. Not a good look for you as a mom."
Caitlin started by admitting that she does buy her children's clothing from large, affordable retailers like Walmart while she buys her clothing at more expensive brand-name spots.
Her Kids Are Growing Too Fast And Playing Too Hard For Fancy Clothes
However, the mom takes a minute to explain her reasoning to the haters, and honestly, it makes sense.
Caitlin rationalized, "You know why? Because I'm not constantly outgrowing [my clothes] like my kids are."
They Love To Get Messy, Especially When They Are Eating
She continued, "I am not constantly spilling food and dirt all over my brand new clothes."
To support her point, Caitlin shared a candid photo of her littles eating ice cream outside looking disheveled from a full day of play.
Kids' Clothes Often Have To Be Replaced More Frequently
She added, "I am not outside running around in the dirt for hours on end. I am not tripping and ripping holes in brand new clothing."
Essentially, it comes down to the fact that Caitlin knows she's likely going to have to replace her kids' clothes sooner rather than later.
Caitlin Refuses To Be A Condescending "Neat And Tidy" Mom
She explained that her children are messy and that they love to play in the dirt and make a mess of their food.
As a result, she says she buys them cheaper clothing because she refuses to be "the mom who yells at them for spilling ice cream on a brand new shirt."

Caitlin summarized her post by saying that she will not feel bad for buying her children clothing from Walmart.
"The dirt, the smiles, and the ice cream makes me way happier than a photo of them dressed in clothes they hate, that they will outgrow in a week."
