Times Online Shopping Totally Delivered Exactly What They Were Selling
Online shopping always sounds like a good idea because you can do it from the convenience of your living room couch whilst shoving 10 kernels of popcorn in your mouth at the same time. But, it's a gamble.
You might order a pair of shoes that wouldn't even fit your childhood Barbie or a slick backpack that is better suited for your pet hamster. We've all been betrayed to some extent by online retailers but the people that we've compiled on this list will have horror stories to tell for the rest of their lives. These are their hilariously nightmarish stories.
"Sleeps 4"
This guy ordered a two-person tent and ended up with this Honey, I Shrunk The Kids special. He didn't notice that the tent was actually a two-person tent for toddlers but he bossed up and brought it to a music festival anyways. This is the kind of dedication we need to see more of in all aspects of life.
32 Inch Length
Buying pants is probably one of the most strenuous tasks because every company fits significantly different. It seems that five trips to the changeroom is never enough when buying pants, so the gambling and trying to buy them online is a disaster waiting to happen. George found out the hard way that pant dimensions are actually subjective in fashion, contrary to popular belief.
Amazon Being Too Literal
NO! You don't just get the dinosaur alone without its partner in crime, little Steve. They come as a package deal and it's been that way since the two met in the ball pit of a Mcdonald's PlayPlace. This kid isn't going anywhere and unfortunately for this guy, he wanted a solo dino but instead got the entire package.
Toad Top Hats
This is what happens when you're drunk online shopping and looking to buy your toad a top hat, but instead, you buy it 100 by mistake. A toad doesn't need 100 top hats, it needs around 25 (statistics show). Toads need to be able to wear clean top hats to live a fulfilled life, but man, this is just overkill.
That Cat Belongs At The Skatepark
Can we talk about how cool this backpack will make this cat though? If this cat was not popular in the feline community before, it certainly is now. Mice are going to see this cat rocking this swag and be begging to be eaten by it just to get a whiff of the piece. This cat also probably has an Instagram account with at least one million cat followers named "Bruno".
Place Rug For A Mouse
It's important when you're buying online to look at the dimensions very carefully. This ad probably said 8x5 but with no unit of measurement following. This is now your pet hamster's yoga mat Adam. Thanks to your mistake, your hamster is now vegan and only eating kale salads while judging your every move. You have to live with these consequences, Adam.
Love Seat
This is the perfect size chair. I don't know why anyone would be complaining about it. Think of it this way, by having a chair that's this size you have so much more room for activities in the living room. It opens up an array of different things to do, like being able to play Dance Dance Revolution comfortably without stubbing your toe on furniture.
Roadkill Version
If this flower set was supposed to look like a lion, it was received after that lion apparently got hit by a truck on the highway. The end product looks like this animal has seen some things that would leave a Navy Seal in the fetal position. Whatever greenhouse this flower was in needs to be reported asap before this type of treatment spreads.
Expensive Autocorrect
This is one of the funniest autocorrects the internet has ever laid eyes on. Going from a blonde girl to a blind girl is really funny, and also severely confusing for the recipient I'm sure. Custom cakes are expensive too, so this mistake was also gifted with a lofty bill. This is why parents need to dedicate a lot of time to get the technology down pat.
Bee Sting Shoes
These are the same shoes, I don't know what you're talking about. These shoes are just a little ambitious on their walk to school and decided to kick a beehive to which they paid the price for. They're just temporarily swollen and the doctor gave them a week of Polisporin treatments before they're back to their slim self.
Less Flowy
The online picture is definitely more breathable and flowy whereas the real product looks suffocating on every level. I do think that with the addition of the brown belt it can turn this entire look around. Yes, it will be EVEN MORE constricting but it deserves a chance to transform this outfit.
The Cat Swim Suit
I don't know about you, but does this swimsuit not look like a hammock? I feel scared just looking at it because it reminds me of the dangers that come with trying to get on and off hammocks without completely crippling yourself. It also kind of looks like the cat is now ready for a medieval war with its newly purchased chainmail armor.
$750 Piece Of Paper
This guy literally spent $750 on a picture of an Xbox One thinking it was an actual Xbox One. This is as big of a mistake as when the bell rang to end the day at school and you got up in the middle of the teacher still teaching a lesson. "The bell doesn't dismiss you, Darryl, I do" teach says, "Now you're staying for 30 extra minutes." Devastating.
"For Large Breed Dogs"
This is why you can't just put dogs in large, generalized categories. This dog coat was advertised as being big enough for large breed dogs but all this poor pup gets is a weird looking neck brace. This is the face of defeat. This dog is scarred for life and will no longer be seen at the dog park because of this online tragedy.
Stuffing Sold Separately
This bear has suffered the devastating experience of seeing a little kid that once loved him move on to a bigger, more cuddly version of the stuffed bear. The little kid threw him mercilessly online to sell him but posted a picture of when he was feeling vibrant and living a fulfilled life. Now he's just a deflated, wrinkled, lifeless companion. Betrayal at its finest.
For Witches Only
This guy meant to order a medium-sized soup ladle from witchesaccessories.com and forgot to realize that "regular" in witch is actually very large. They need large ladles to stir their massive stews that consist of a potent magical concoction that's severely harmful to humans.
Tanning Ants
This is amazingly selfless of these parents to be thinking of the many ants that inhabit the porch that they tan on. Ants always get the crappy end of the stick (sometimes literally) and have to climb inches and inches to get up to a life-sized recliner to tan. These ant whisperers realized this and decided it would be rude of them not to get the ants their own tanning chairs.
Tight Fitting
This outfit looks like someone's little sister went up to the family's curtain set and starting randomly cutting shapes and then someone tried to wear it. A knock-off version of Jasmine from Aladdin called, she wants her dress back. This is just another reason why you should never online shop. Ever.
Garbage Bag Leggings
First of all, the leather pants that are skin tight look like an absolute adventure to get on and off. Those things are a full day commitment to get on. "Can't come to my nail appointment tomorrow, I'm planning on wearing these plastic/leather/slippery leggings that take 14 hours to put on." The garbage bag look is a lot more chill and breathable, so look on the bright side.
Dryer Mocassins
By the looks of it, Amazon put this shoe in the dryer before shipping it out. This guy ordered size seven Mocassins and ended up getting a shoe that a chihuahua would struggle to get their front paw into. A squirrel would look at this shoe and say, "how am I supposed to stuff my heel into that thing?"
