Woman Refuses Second Date After Man Doesn’t Pick Up Her Bill
When it comes to going out on dates, there are a lot of unwritten rules of what people should and should not do.
A man was taken aback when he learned that he might not have done what the woman expected him to do on their date.
Asking For Date Number Two
The exchange, which was posted to Reddit, begins with a man asking a woman to go out on a date.
The woman seems shocked that he would ask her given what she said happened the last time. He wasn't sure exactly what he did.
They Had To Pay For Their Own Food
It turns out that he did not pay for her when they went out last.
He didn't think that he needed to because she invited him to dinner and she ordered a fancier meal.
Big Difference In Price
He reminded her that the totals of their food and drinks were much different.
Her total would have been $122 American, while his was only $20. Since he was a student, that was not something he could have afforded.
Should He Have Paid For The Meal?
So the question is, should he have been the one to pay for the full bill at the restaurant?
He is claiming that she was the one who invited him out and her total was much more than his.
Gentlemen Always Pay
She was of the belief that the gentleman should always pay for the woman's meal.
She thinks if he wasn't prepared to pay for her meal, he should not have accepted her invitation.
Only Wanted One Thing
He did not appreciate her response and said that he didn't like her talking about wanting to make out with another guy on their date.
That's when she accused him of just wanting to get into her pants.
Exchanging Insults
He did not deny that he may have wanted that, but he couldn't resist throwing an insult her way.
This may have just been something said in the heat of the moment, but she didn't appreciate it.
Sending Her Love
He decided to only respond with a picture of Stalin making a heart with his hands.
Who was really in the wrong in this situation? Would you expect your date to cover your tab if it was so much more than theirs?
