Real Estate Agent Breaks In And Holds Open House At Home That Is Not For Sale

A woman who goes by @busymomonli on TikTok shared a video that showed a real estate agent breaking in and attempting to sell her house—that wasn't for sale—while nobody was home!
Owns A Home With Her Husband
The woman is married and also has a teenage son and a dog who live at home.
The couple own their house and both of them were at work for the day.
Her Doorbell Alert Goes Off
She received an alert on her phone through her video doorbell app that someone had rung the bell.
This was strange to her as she was not expecting anyone to come to the house that day.
Waiting For An Answer
Despite no cars in the driveway and nobody coming to answer the door, the man waited.
It looked as though he was clearly expecting that someone would answer the door.
A Car Pulls Up
A couple of minutes later, a white SUV pulls into the driveway.
The homeowner did not recognize the vehicle as belonging to anyone that she knew. A number of people got out of the car and were greeted by the man.
Go To The Side Of The House
The man walked the group of people to the side of the house.
The homeowners were able to watch them on the camera that they had installed on the side of their home.
Sets Off The Alarm
The homeowner really did not like the fact that so many people she didn't know were at her house.
She activated the alarm remotely which caused them to stop briefly and look up.
They Head Inside
She thought that they would leave, but instead, the man went around to the back door and went through the house and let them in.
The group spent close to 20 minutes in the home before leaving.
The Police Arrive
The woman called the police when she saw the people entering her home. The police and the homeowner arrived just as the man was pulling out of the driveway.
The woman learned that he was a real estate agent who was showing people her home. The only issue was that their home was not listed for sale.
Police Investigate
The woman led the police into her home to make sure that nothing had been stolen.
It looked like everything was in order and nothing had been taken. She was still rather shocked and confused by the situation.
The Agent Apologizes
After being questioned by the police, the real estate agent walked up to the house to apologize.
He again just opened the front door and let himself in. He apologized to the woman for the whole situation and went on his way.
A Weird Coincidence
In a follow-up video, the woman explained that the real estate agent was supposed to show the house next to hers.
The man said that in his 27-year career, he had never made this big of a mistake.
How Did He Get In?
The homeowner explained that the realtor got into the house because their back door was unlocked as their teenage son tends to leave it unlocked.
The owner of the house the agent was supposed to show next door had left the backdoor unlocked as well since he was not going to be home for the showing. Another example of how this was one very strange mixup!
