It's an item that rarely leaves the pantry and is hardly ever used unless it has something to do with cooking or covering food items. In reality, there are far more uses for aluminum foil -- and they can save you a good bit of money! Grab that roll that's been sitting in the kitchen drawer or pantry and let's put it to use!

If you think that ironing is a laborious process that takes way too long, this is the perfect tip for you! You won't even need to take your clothing to the cleaner anymore. When ironing, a lot of the heat from the iron gets lost on the board itself, meaning you have to go over a wrinkle multiple times to flatten it out.

However, if you put a piece of foil beneath the fabric that you're ironing, it will act as a conductor that reflects the heat through the clothing, getting the wrinkle out faster.

The majority of drivers today use a key fob to access to unlock and start their car. Key fobs emit a short-range, wireless radio signal from the key to the vehicle. Drivers should be aware that criminals may be able to amplify and intercept this transmission if your fob is within close access to the car, around 300 feet or less, according to Sevan Locks And Doors.

To help protect against criminals, keep your key fob more than 300 feet away from your car. In an interview with Detroit Free Press, Holly Hubert, a cybersecurity expert said that wrapping the fob in tinfoil can reduce the wireless radio signal.

WD-40 is the MVP of the winter season. Not only can the product help prevent snow buildup on your windshield, but it can also help protect your shoes and keep your feet warm on the snowiest days.

To waterproof, you're just going to leave the WD-40 on the shoe without wiping any of it off. Water won’t be able to penetrate your sneaker’s fabric after this treatment! Better yet, this will also remove any salt stains your shoes acquired during the winter months!

If you're a gardener, you know how frustrating it can be when foliage you’re cutting gets stuck to your shears. You have to keep stopping to wipe the shears down, and the stuck-on plants make the blades duller and less effective at cutting.

Grab your can of WD-40 and you’ve got this problem solved. All it takes is a little spray up and down the length of the shears’ blades. You can lightly wipe them down if desired and get right back to your gardening!
